Brian Harris was a humble man who served his community as a Deputy Sherriff in Kane County Utah and served his country during the Gulf War. On August 26th he was shot and killed in the line of duty. He had responded to a call for back-up. He has left a huge hole in the hearts of his family and the community as well.

He and his wife of 18 years had been planning for 2 years to build a new home. Their current home was built in 1918 and is in bad need of repair. Brian had actually fallen through the roof last year doing repairs. The community Brian Harris served and was a part of, has come together to complete this project that he and his family started. This community is responding as his back-up, to build a home for those left behind, his wife and 2 daughters.
